As part of UA Group’s community outreach efforts, our recent volunteer trip to Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu left a profound impression on everyone involved. Beyond sharing love and support with those in need, this journey also served as an opportunity to express our gratitude and honor the indomitable spirit of patriotism by visiting the memorial of Ms. Vo Thi Sau.
1. A Journey Dedicated to the Community
The main goal of this volunteer trip was to provide practical assistance to families facing hardships in the Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu area. Our team visited and delivered gifts to elderly individuals living alone, orphaned children, and households lacking basic necessities.
The primary items in our care packages included:
- Food and essential goods (rice, cooking oil, sugar, milk, and more)
- Basic medical supplies (face masks, medicines, etc.)
- Financial support to help cover daily expenses
The warm, welcoming spirit of the local people deepened our understanding of the value of giving. Every smile and grateful look received upon delivering the gifts reminded us of the human significance behind such activities.
2. Visiting the Vo Thi Sau Memorial
After completing our volunteer program, we set aside time to visit the Vo Thi Sau Memorial, honoring the young heroine who played a part in Vietnam’s fight for independence. The solemn, sacred atmosphere moved each of us as we contemplated her steadfast courage and unwavering bravery.
During the visit, we listened to stories of her life and ultimate sacrifice. Her fearlessness and refusal to surrender to the enemy sparked feelings of patriotism and national pride within us all. The memorial offered our group a chance to reflect upon and appreciate the sacrifices made by previous generations, while also inspiring present and future generations to live responsibly and contribute to society.
3. Significance and Hope
This trip was not merely about volunteer work; it was a meaningful journey to nurture the soul and fulfill UA Group’s commitment to social responsibility.
